Stone restoration and repair is about ensuring the stone is strong and looks at its best, whether this is inside or outside your home.  We offer a range of stone restoration services for properties of all ages to help ensure the stone is in top condition and looks smart.

Our process involves assessing the stone to see the nature of the problem.  Sometimes it is more about cleaning and smartening the stone while other times there are repair tasks that need completing before the restoration work can take place. 

Stone is extremely tough but there are things that can impact it.  Pollution and weathering are two of the top culprits while exterior stone can be damaged by things like long term leaks from guttering or pipes.  All repair work is carried out with an eye to the nature of stone – allowing it to breath and to handle frost and thaw cycles if outside.

Sometimes it is more about cleaning the stone surface than repairing.  Stains, dirt, plant residue and pollution can all stain different stones and need to be removed before the stone can be restored.  We use special cleaning products that remove these problems without damaging the stone itself.

Once the problems are cleared, we can carry out any further restoration work needed to get the stone into top condition.  We can also provide tips to help keep it that way and ensure it lasts the longest time.
